Our Programs
At Ati Ananng Canada, our programs are designed to empower and uplift Indigenous communities through education, cultural preservation, and sustainable development. We focus on fostering connections, building skills, and creating opportunities that honor traditions while paving the way for a brighter future.
National Conventions
We consistently engage and support our ethnicity in the diaspora by conducting and participating in conventions where common objectives and goals for the betterment of our communities are discussed. Some of the conventions in the past are:
- Calgary 2015 (pictures for the event)
- Toronto 2013 and 2017 (pictures for the event)
Culture and Traditions
We teach and inform members of our community about our language, culture and traditions. We highlight similarities between other communities we engage with and emphasize on certain elements contained in the Canadian Charter of Rights. Our teachings on language addresses generic communications, while teachings on culture and traditions addresses clothing, traditional societal structure and lifestyle.
Provide Support
We assist members of our ethnicity who are new to Canada as well as other individuals who may solicit our help. We offer support and guidance to them on accommodation, education, health, finance and job opportunities via existing government and other organizational programs for newcomers to Canada.
